Cyclone Gabrielle has damaged lake taupō and lake rotoaira forests
The Trust Board has received word that Cyclone Gabrielle has caused “significant damage” to both Lake Taupō and Lake Rotoaira Forests.
Both areas, along with the Lake Taupō Forest Trust office in Tūrangi are now closed off to the public till further notice.
