Grants & Scholarships

We currently offer grants and scholarships totalling more than $200,000 per annum per year.

Grants open in February closing on the 30 June of each year.

Those who are attending NZQA recognised Establishments at Tertiary Level, Years 12 and 13 at Secondary Level, Registered Early Childhood Establishments including Kōhanga Reo, and any person with special needs (Impaired or Disabled) who are descendants of Ngāti Tūwharetoa are welcome to apply.

Applications for Scholarships are currently closed and will re-open in December 2011

Scholarships Open: 1st December in each year

Scholarships Close: 28th February in each year

To qualify for a Scholarship you must complete one year of Tertiary Study. Scholarships are paid to those who are studying at a tertiary level and are based on your previous end of year marks.

Scholarships are rewarded to applicants with an A average - 10 Scholarship recipients are chosen each year to the value of $1,000 each.
